Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to your private tour! We’ll start by transferring you from the airport to your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time, you might explore some local attractions like Jamaa Lafna by night, M.Avenue, and nearby city areas.
Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll meet a local guide to uncover Marrakech’s rich history. You’ll visit the Menara Garden, the famous Koutoubia Mosque, and Bahia Palace. Stroll through the streets of the medina, lose yourself in its vast market, and savor traditional Moroccan food in Djemaa el-Fna Square. Marrakech is a vibrant mix of old and new, with the scent of fresh mint, colorful spices, and the sounds of snake charmers filling the air. The city is a hub of tourism and handicrafts, and its main square is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll stay overnight in Marrakech.
Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Magouna – Boumalne Dades
After breakfast, we head over the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying stunning landscapes. We’ll cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 meters and visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, passing through the lush Skoura Valley and the scenic Valley of Roses. Our journey ends at the Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night in a Kasbah hotel.
Dades Gorge – Tinghir – Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
Today, we’ll head to Merzouga, stopping at the Todra Gorge to admire its towering red cliffs. We’ll continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud, visiting a fossilized marble factory and museum. At Erg Chebbi, we’ll prepare for a camel ride to the dunes. Enjoy a magical night under the stars, with dinner, drums, and a cozy campfire.
Desert – Nomadic Families – Khamlia
After watching a desert sunrise and having breakfast, you’ll explore the desert and visit nomadic families. We’ll head to Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music, and then continue to the wild desert of Ouzina. Return to the Kasbah hotel to enjoy the panoramic views.
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views. We’ll pass through Midelt, known for its apple orchards and mining activities, and then cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll visit the cedar forests, see monkeys in the wild, and stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its cleanliness and outdoor beauty. We’ll arrive in Fes for the night.
Guided Tour of Fes
After breakfast, a local guide will show you the highlights of Fes, including the souks, Royal Palace gate, and the ancient Karaouine mosque and university. Visit the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, the city’s founder, and enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant.
Fes – Volubilis – Ouazzane – Chefchaouen
We’ll drive to Volubilis to explore its stunning Roman ruins with a local guide. Then, we’ll continue through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, where you’ll stay overnight in a hotel.
Chefchaouen – Kenitra – Rabat – Casablanca
We’ll depart for Rabat, stopping in Kenitra. In Rabat, explore the “City of Gardens,” with its mix of ancient and modern sites, including the Hassan Tower. Stroll through the medina’s vibrant streets before heading to Casablanca for the night.
Casablanca – El Jadida – Oualidia – Safi – Essaouira
After breakfast, we’ll tour Casablanca and then drive to El Jadida, a historic port city. We’ll continue to Oualidia, known for its beautiful lagoon, and then to Safi, a major fishing port. Finally, we’ll arrive in Essaouira, a charming coastal town, where you’ll stay in a hotel or riad.
Essaouira – Marrakech
Explore Essaouira’s Skala Fortress, Thuya wood workshops, and medina, filled with handicrafts. On our way back to Marrakech, we’ll stop to see goats climbing Argan trees. You’ll stay overnight in Marrakech.
Departure – Marrakech Airport
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Marrakech or Casablanca airport for your departure flight, marking the end of our tour. Safe travels!
